A self-confessed cork dork, freelance journalist and sommelier Sorrel Moseley-Williams traverses South America’s southern cone in the quest for food, wine and travel experiences. Last weekend took her to a sea salt party in Argentine Patagonia; a few months ago she unearthed the story about Bolivia’s freshwater clams; next month she’ll be road-tripping to Uco Valley in Mendoza with some somm mates. Living in Argentina’s northeast in 1998 for a year then making a permanent move in 2006 to Buenos Aires, she has contributed to CNN Travel, Condé Nast Traveler and Traveller, The Guardian, Saveur, The Independent and Departures. She writes weekly in the Buenos Aires Herald and is wine editor of Time Out Buenos Aires. Guide book collaborations include Wallpaper*, Fodor’s and Rough Guide among others; she has also written for Cuisine & Vins, La Nación, U-Like It and Forbes Argentina in Spanish.
