Andrés Morataya is a chef that lives in the on the far coast of the Azuero Peninsula in Panama, in a place called Playa Venao, where he once ran the restaurant Panga. He’s a fascinating person. Some call him the Forrest Gump of the food world as he seems to repeatedly find himself in unbelievable situations, such as his work with the Prince of Lichtenstein or his friendship with Daniel Boulud.
