Santa Fe Wine & Chile Fiesta
This September 24- October 1 the Santa Fe Wine & Chile Fiesta will return to Santa Fe. In its 27th year, the food festival will feature master sommeliers and James Beard Award-winning chefs from 100 national wineries and 75 of Santa Fe’s most acclaimed restaurants. Over the course of the five-day festival, attendees will participate in guest chef winery luncheons, cooking demonstrations, wine seminars, wine dinners, tastings, and a variety luncheons. The fiesta’s big finales will take place at the Santa Fe Opera where all participating restaurants and wineries will offer samples to guests. Goya Foods Partners Sponsors the New York International Salsa Congress
Goya Foods, the largest Hispanic-owned food company in the United States, will take on the role of title sponsor for the forthcoming New York International Salsa Congress. A multi-day Latin music and dance festival in its 17th year, the Salsa Congress brings over 8,000 guests and salsa enthusiasts from all over the world to The New York Marriott Marquis in Times Square. The Congress will take place from Thursday, August 31, 2017 to Sunday, September 3, 2017, kicking off with an official ‘La Clave’ party held at Iguanas Lounge in the city’s theater district on Wednesday. Mexico City Wine & Food Festival
Michelin-starred chef Andoni Luis Aduriz from Mugaritz will headline the upcoming Mexico City Wine & Food Festival. Set to take place in Districto Federal from September 28- October 3, Edgar Núñez will also join chef Aduriz in several gastronomic events throughout the festival. Festival highlights will include tastings, demonstrations, and dinner events to celebrate Mexico’s rich gastronomy. Stay tuned for more news on the festival as it evolves. Chef Diego Hernández Will Join Roberto Ruiz & Others in Madrid
To celebrate the 5th anniversary of his celebrated restaurant Punto MX, Michelin-starred chef Roberto Ruiz will welcome chefs Diego Hernández Baquedano, Juana Amaya, Edgar Nuñez, and José Manuel Baños to his home country of Spain. Gathering in Madrid July 19-22, the chefs will gather to celebrate Mexican gastronomy, the success of Punta MX, and cook memorable meals together.
Cosme Will Partner with Chef Carlos Garcia for Arepa Night
On Saturday August 12, the team at Cosme will join forces with Venezuelan chef Carlos Garcia of Restaurante Alto to bring an Arepa Night to the New York City restaurant. Tickets are $95 per person, including beverages, and all proceeds will go directly to Fundación Borriga Llena Corazón Contento — a organization composed of chefs, communicators, and entrepreneurs in Caracas, Venezuela that organizes food donations for hungry children, families, and workers at the Hospital J.M.
